The Headlines:


In the role of Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs, working in Toronto, ON you will be part of the Canadian Corporate Affairs team. The person will work proactively to lead both internal and external Corporate Communications for Molson Coors Canada. They are a key partner with Senior Leaders in the business as well as other internal stakeholder groups, managing the development and execution of all internal corporate communications. This position also works collaboratively with the Vice President of Corporate Affairs on corporate reputation management, corporate media relations and external communications.


This position reports to Gavin Thompson, Vice President of Corporate Affairs, and works closely with Molson Coors’ leadership team, agency contacts and cross functional teams within the business.



The Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate Molson Coors Canada’s capability to become First Choice for Consumers and Customers, providing strategic leadership, direction, and management
  • Manage the development and execution of all internal corporate communications in Canada to drive employee engagement and advocacy
  • Develop the strategy and content for all internal and external leadership communications, working closely with each member of the Leadership Team to lead and manage their communications calendar, develop key messages for multiple audiences and deliver communication objectives
  • Manage communications budget and agency relations
  • Lead the strategy and execution of Canada’s external corporate reputation plan
  • Protect corporate and brand reputation through stakeholder engagement, network relationships and executive positioning
  • Work directly with Vice President of Corporate Affairs to manage and respond to urgent issues that arise at a corporate level
  • Act as liaison and work collaboratively with Vice President of Corporate Affairs team to do proactive media outreach and manage corporate media relations

  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You exhibit our core values and demonstrate our Molson Coors Success Factors
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or an associated field
  • You have 7+ years related experience in Communications or Corporate Affairs
