    The Headlines:

    In the role of Assistant Channel Marketing Manager, On Premise, Western Region working in Western Canada you will be part of the National On Premise Channel Marketing Team. You will leverage market specific insights to adapt or develop programming, tools and/or other channel solutions in support of regional objectives while aligning to national OP Channel Strategy.

     

    This position reports to Carolyn Brown, Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, On Premise and works closely with regional sales (Market Managers and KAMs), Sponsorship & Entertainment and Brand teams.

    Responsibilities

    The Responsibilities:

    Gain, leverage and share Market Expertise (channel segment shopper & customer insights) to use in development and adaptation/amplification of regional program, tool or channel solutions and communications development.

    • Adapt and/or develop regionalized and nationally extendable occasion-based feature program concepts and tools (including sell-sheets and templates) – manage e-enablement with internal and external stakeholders/suppliers
    • Adapt and track amplification of Brand sponsored properties (e.g. Sports, Music) in OP Channel
    • Input from a regional perspective into nationally managed Core Tool development and Channel Solutions (as well as contributing input/feedback to Pillar Program Development led by PD team)
    • Contribute regional insights to annual National Channel Strategy & Plan Development
    • Insight regional KAM team in support of their customer program, tool and pitch development
    • Work with Brand to establish and communicate strategy and guidelines including budget and critical path (input or approval requirements) to Market Managers for field communication/ compliance
    • Support Innovation launches in your region, working with Innovation, Brand & Channel teams to recommend distribution/channel segment focus and support commercialization.
    • Support Regional SKU distribution pushes (identified in monthly cadence of meeting with provincial Market Managers) with customer & consumer first insight-based selling stories.

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant Field
    • You have at least 3-4 years progressive experience, preferably multi-functional (Sales/Marketing)
    • Industry related experience, preferably in the on premise channel.
    • You are creative, open minded and innovative in your approach while maintaining focus on the objective and keeping within strategic parameters.
