  • Overview

     We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance Team supporting the Quebec region. The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of a high performing finance team providing financial support in contract management, controls & governance, financial reporting, analysis and forecasting.


    The role reports to Finance Manager Sales.



    • Participate in the elaboration and analysis of the annual budget (AOP) and rolling forecast (LE) for the grocery channel. Understand the Trade rebates structure, NSR and financial impact on the business.
    • Provide support to the accounting team in the month end closing process, customer rebates payments and accounting.
    • Produce financial analysis and reporting of the actual performance by customers. Variance analysis of actuals versus AOP, LE and previous year. Communication of the results.
    • Participation in the business cases production for new or contract renewal.
    • Review actual business processes in place, propose processes improvement and implement the changes. Document the standard operating processes (SOP) and support the sales team in the end to end processes.
    • Production of post-mortem financial analysis on customer profitability, pricing initiatives and promotion.




    If you have the following…we want to hear from you!

    • University degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Bi-lingual abilities: French and English
    • CPA designation
    • 5 to 8 years of experience in finance
    • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service
    • Confident, proactive and an effective communicator, the successful candidate is a skilled professional with finely honed value-added customer service skills
    • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry is preferred
    • Experience in business with high volume of transactions supported by customer contract agreement.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to details and critical thinking capabilities
    • Ability to effectively work in a team environment and also independently
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
    • Good knowledge of SAP and BW tools.
