    The Headlines:

     

    In the Temporary role of Packaging Operator working out of our St. John’s Brewery, you will be part of our Supply Chain Team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and cleaning equipment, performing on-line quality control checks, executing promotional activities and supporting our distribution team efforts, amongst other duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a team-based environment supporting fellow team members in achieving team targets and objectives 
    • Operate equipment to process and package beer which includes quality control checks, and cleaning of high speed equipment.
    • Maintain processing and packaging area in a clean and safe manner.
    • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve operational efficiencies.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Must be 19 years of age or older
    • Must be able to work rotating shifts
    • Comfortable working in cold and warm environments
    • Manufacturing and/or warehousing experience in a production environment including forklift certification would be considered an asset
    • Effectively communicates with teams
