    The Headlines:

     

    In the role of Senior Internal Auditor working in our Toronto Office you will be part of the Global Audit Team providing support to the Manager and Senior Director North American Global Internal Audit in the planning and execution of the annual audit plan for Global and Canada. You will provide leadership and operational intelligence to the business as required within the scope and capacity of Internal Audit.

     

    This position reports to the Manager, Internal Audit and works closely with the Canadian Finance Team as well as Global Internal Audit, Global Internal Controls and Corporate Finance.

    Responsibilities

    The Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement medium to high risk internal audit projects. Plan and execute internal audit projects and assess process risks for proper audit coverage and planning.
    • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes by verifying that internal controls are efficient and effective to mitigate business risks to an acceptable level, ensure assets are adequately protected, and ensure significant financial, managerial & operating information is accurate, reliable, and timely
    • Work in partnership with management to design and implement cost effective procedures to ensure that internal controls are effective for reliable financial reporting, safeguard the Company’s assets, provide for efficient processes and procedures, and achieve regulatory compliance.
    • Perform special projects at the request of management, including SOX, and external audit assistance.
    • Promote Internal Audit as a value add to the organization and deliver audit services that consistently improve the control environment and achieve operational excellence.

    • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
    • You exhibit our core values and demonstrate our Molson Coors How We Work Attributes
    • You have a University degree in with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or a related business field
    • You have a Professional Designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CIA)
    • You have at least 4 years of audit experience (could be a mix of internal and external audit experience). A mix of audit experience along with accounting experience would also be considered

     

    • You have total working experience of  five (5) + years including multi-company / industry experience (manufacturing, consumer or packaging industry).
    • You have the ability to travel 20-30%
