    The Headlines:

     

    In the role of Manager, Category Solutions working in Canada West, you will be part of the Canadian Customer Excellence team. The person will lead the Category Solutions responsibilities to enable the West region to deliver Annual Operating Plan objectives and 3-year EBIT targets.

     

    This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Category Solutions and works closely with many members of the Sales team such as Channel Marketing, Key Account Managers, and Field Sales Representatives. They also work with the Revenue Management team, and many other cross-functional teams.

    Responsibilities

    The Responsibilities:

    • Lead the implementation of Shelf Strategy, Selling Tools (Outlet Execution) and Planograms for the West.
    • Provide analytical insights by interpreting findings in data (consumer and shopper insights, business and financial indicators, research) to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations that support the achievement of 3 year EBIT and Sales objectives at a customer/Key Account level.
    • Execute category leadership initiatives including but not limited to: category reviews, Customer Sell In Stories for Category Solutions, competitive landscape analysis, etc. to help Molson Coors become First Choice for Consumers.
    • Work collaboratively with the Shopper & Customer Insights team (internal partnership) to develop insights & solutions to directly impact top and bottom line sales results via product assortment optimization, in-store space optimization/utilization, in-store merchandising post-mortem analysis, shopper marketing solutions (test & measure) and others.

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field;
    • You have at least 8 years' progressive experience in the Molson Coors organization and/or other consumer packaged goods.
    • You have at least 5 years of related analytical experience in sales, marketing, category management or research.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
