    The Headlines:

     

    This role is responsible directly for the transactional data integrity within the Toronto Brewery facility as well as leading, supporting, and monitoring the data integrity of each brewery within Canada to find best practice through performance reporting and root cause analysis.

    This role will evaluate these process gaps and errors for each Molson brewery and will recommend, develop and deliver training to correct and improve National data integrity and error frequency.  This role also includes using SAP tools monitor and correct daily, transactional errors that effect overall data integrity and the timely execution of various orders types.

    * This position is a contract based role and ends after 2 months.

    Responsibilities

    The Responsibilities:

     

    Monitoring activities related to:

    • Interface monitoring via process messages to insure data transfers between shop floor and SAP are correct (IDOC errors monitoring)
    • Outstanding open reservations
    • Goods movements in errors (backflush), follow-up with buyers, receivers, etc and insure corrective actions are taken
    • Month end clean-up – (no negative inventory in WIP, no errors left)Problem solving activities such as:
    • Investigate root cause of problems and identify corrections required
    • Cancelling Process orders in SAP
    • Follow-up activities with various individuals (receivers, production supervisors, etc.) to ensure execution of transactions is carried out on a timely and accurate basis
    • Correcting Production transactions (reversing goods issues/receipts, reprocessing process messages, etc.)Reporting To assess transactional data integrity within operations and to keep the Senior Materials Planner advised of any significant changes in data integrity, which can affect the day to day operation of Proficy, SAP or Scheduling.

    • To generate reports related to transactional data integrity.

    Driven to make informed decisions: must continually connect with various operation groups to be quickly informed of issues. Must react on issues on a timely basis (at the right time) to adapt plans and issues new work instructions. Need excellent operation knowledge to judge the magnitude of issued and identify proper channel to generate corrective action.

     

    Energetic leadership: need strong persuasive skills to create adhesion to plans and maintain credibility of planning process. Need to interact with a multitude of players. Need strong communication and listening skills to share information and provide clear point of views.

    Qualifications

     

    The Other Qualifications:  

     

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated relationship building capability.

    High resistance to stress.

    Well organized, meticulous, focus on precision and detail. High capacity to adapt according to the urgency of situation.

    Strong process knowledge in brewing, packaging and shipping.

    Strong problem-solving skills: proactively anticipates issues, initiates corrective action, modifies plans accordingly and communicates new instructions clearly and concisely.

    Strong computer skills, preferably with an ERP system.

    Bachelors degree with preference in logistics, operation-management, engineering or sciences.

    1-3 years brewery experience.

    Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.

     

    Other:

    Weekend work may be required.

    Overtime work may be required as necessary.
