    The Headlines:


    In the role of Innovation Manager – Beyond Beer Portfolio working in Toronto you will be part of the Canadian Marketing team. This role is primarily accountable for leading the development and implementation of innovation initiatives that will fuel our growing Spirits, cider and flavoured malt beverage portfolio. The scope of the role will include a range of initiatives such as packaging innovation, brewing innovation, new brand creation, commercialization of innovation from our other Business Units, and new channel innovation. Based from rigorous consumer/ customer insights, the Innovation Manager role works closely with several key functions to deliver on differentiated, incremental innovation propositions.


    This position reports to the Senior Innovation Manager and works closely with the Brand marketing teams and Commercial colleagues in Canada.

    The Responsibilities:

    Accelerate Molson Coors Canada’s commercial capability to become First Choice for Consumers and Customers providing the strategic leadership, direction, and management for one of Molson Coors Canada’s Key Brands.

    • Translate insights and ideas into verifiable concepts based on consumer value and commercial potential.
    • Lead the development and execution of Innovation initiatives through the START process:
      • From the ‘Fuzzy’ front end of the Innovation Funnel through to Development or Implementation, depending on the initiative.
      • Working with a Project Manager, lead multidisciplinary teams that include Brewing, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to achieve outlined objectives.
    • Anticipate market trends, economic conditions and adoption criteria that are ideal for product introductions.
    • Monitor new product introductions/technologies from competitors locally and in other markets to maintain a solid new product pipeline.
    • Contribute to the formulation and articulation of annual Innovation calendars and plans.
    • Lead the management of relationships between external agencies, research suppliers, and consultancies on assigned projects.

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field;
    • You have at least 5 years' progressive experience in brand marketing
    • You have had agency and/or sales experience
