    The Headlines:

     

    In the role of Internal Communcations Specialist, you will be part of the Corporate Affairs team based in Montreal. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager of Communications  in the tactical execution of the employee communications strategies and goals, developing and maintaining communication channels which support strategic business objectives, and recommending changes or additions to organizational communications in both English and French . You will also develop and support the delivery of relevant, timely, credible, persuasive and consistent communications to employees that influence attitudes and drive First Choice behaviour.

     

    This position reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, and works closely with the Corporate Affairs team.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support in the planning, development and implementation of internal communications, ensuring that the messages and programs are consistent with Molson Coors' First Choice ambition and values.
    • Support the tactical implementation of comprehensive communications, specifically tailored to front-line employees in a unionized environment.
    • Develop “Pub Talk” approved communications that influence employee perceptions, knowledge and behaviours, including: planning and executing communications to employees on topics such as goals, strategies, marketplace and competitive landscape, organizational changes, business and brand news, and executive communications to provide timely and relevant information.
    • Develop, support and enhance communication vehicles to reach all employees, including Intranet, email, printed newsletters, employee town halls, Molson Coors TV and presentations; identify communication opportunities and the design/medium/channels for execution.
    • Support the Internal Communications Manager  with the development of execution of the internal editorial calendar.

     

     

    Qualifications

    The Other Qualifications:

     

    • You have strong language, proofreading and editing skills in both languages – English and French
    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or an associated field
    • You have a B.A. or Certificate in French Translation-Not required but would be an asset
    • You have 3+ years related experience in Internal Communications, Government or Corporate Affairs, Public Policy, Media Relations and Issues Management
    • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy.
    • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business.
    • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
