    Role Overview:

     

    The Master Scheduler is responsible for the creation of a feasible, detailed production schedule for the various stages of the brewery operations (Brewing, Fermenting, Racking, Filtration, Filling and Packaging) which will satisfy customer service requirements while optimizing the total logistics and operational resources of the company.

    Responsibilities

    What You Will Be Accountable For:

    • Accountable for the creation of a detailed production schedule and its on-going management
    • Liaises with supply chain planning personnel and appropriate brewery personnel to ensure customer service requirements (internal and external) are met and adapts as required.
    • Manages scheduling exceptions, prioritize exceptions and simulate possible solutions in conjunction with Supply Planning, Deployment and appropriate brewery personnel
    • Maintains the key operational data which includes operational parameters and capacity settings for the various resources and groups of resources
    • The resulting schedule will generate operating instructions for the various brewing and packaging activities.

    Qualifications

    If You Have The Following…We Want To Hear From You!

    • Bachelor degree in Logistics, Business or equivalent
    • APICs certification an asset.
    • Knowledge in SAP order processing, material and inventory management
    • Understanding of Inventory and Operations Management principles
    • Demonstrates effective relationship building capability.
    • Business analytical capability, driven to make informed decisions and understands business strategy
    • Proactive, problem solving ability and able to deal with a number of integrated and sometimes conflicting processes
    • Good communication skills, team player and ability to influence a number of supply chain processes to optimize plans
    • 5 years scheduling or operations experience, brewery/operations experience preferred
    • Highly motivated to learn
