    Role Overview:


    We are looking for a contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in our Toronto office for 8 months covering a maternity leave.


    Providing all aspects of corporate recruitment and staffing for Molson Coors nationally. Reporting to the Manager Talent Acquisition, you must be prepared to work independently and as part of a team in areas of recruiting and human resources.


    What You Will Be Accountable For:

    • Provide a full cycle recruitment and selection support to the management team to achieve best hiring results that deliver business strategies and goals
    • Conducting first and/or second level interviews for positions up to and including Director level
    • Leveraging professional networks and social media to provide proactive sourcing of candidates
    • Knowledge and understanding of commonly used selection assessment tools and provide feedback as required to influence good hiring decisions
    • Develop and/or support execution of recruitment strategies to support all Molson hiring programs as well as strategic projects and initiatives
    • Responsibility for timely recruitment of various positions including marketing and advertising of roles, scheduling and conducting interviews, coordinating assessments or testing when required, facilitating background checks and creating offer letters with third party vendors
    • Develop and maintain strong business relationships within the organization as well as external stakeholders and industry contacts (staffing agencies, universities) to help promote Molson Coors as an employer of choice
    • Proactively develop and maintain effective employee relations in a professional, consistent and fair manner through a hands-on approach.
    • Provides coaching and support to managers to ensure that all people issues are handled in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Ensure compliance with appropriate legislation as well as Corporate HR policies and procedures.

    If you have the following…we want to hear from you!

    • University education in HR/Business. Human Resources certification is considered an asset. Prefer CHRP completed or currently working towards.
    • 5-7 years of recruiting experience required, preferably 2-3 years in a corporate environment.
    • Preference given to previous recruitment experience in consumer goods or other related industries.
    • Must be social media savvy with success in direct sourcing
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and problem solving skills.
    • Change management experience; ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
    • Strong organization, attention to detail and influencing skills.
    • A highly motivated/energetic individual with the ability to take responsibility for initiatives and produce results.
    • Creativity in developing knowledge of the business, networks, and recruiting techniques
    • Knowledge of relevant government legislation including Employment Standards and Human Rights, across all provinces.

    Bilingualism, French and English, would be an advantage.
