    We’re looking for a Central Stores Clerk to provide MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) materials management services and support as required by the Operating Departments of the Toronto Brewery. This is a one year contract position, which is a part of UFCW’s Local 175.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure the reliable provision of inventoried parts, supplies and tools to requestors from maintenance and operations departments.
    • Provide a high level of customer service and maintain the required code of professional conduct internal and external customers and suppliers.
    • Using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) analyze, manage and maintain effective control over all inventoried items.
    • Manage all materials Includes: receipt notification to requestor, material kitting, work order material returns, re-location to alternate storage areas and timely reporting of unused material.
    • Ensure that all legislative and enterprise Environmental and Loss Control policies are adhered to in the handling of inventoried and non-inventoried materials.
    • Document and carry out all parts transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Assume responsibilities for all materials inventoried in a defined area of the stores and carry out all activities related to optimizing these inventoried items in the CMMS. Includes: description, SOS analysis, stock-out, warehousing, 5S, obsolescence, cycle counting etc.
    • Carry out all activities in accordance with existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
    • With the rest of the Stores team, maintain the 5S integrity of the Stores and its satellite inventories.
    • Source and expedite inventoried MRO materials assisting the Buyers as necessary through direct contacts with suppliers.
    • With procurement staff and relevant stakeholders, identify, implement and support inventory optimization and cost savings opportunities.
    • Initiate and manage the processes by which specific parts are repaired either through internal work order or outside repair suppliers.
    • Provide MRO shipping and receiving service support to all departments as required.
    • Review and submit to procurement replenishment requisitions for inventoried resources as necessary.
    • Ensure adherence to Molson Coors Procurement and SOX policies for all procurement and inventory control activities.
    • Conduct, manage and support stores related projects as required.
    • With the rest of the Stores team, suggest and support opportunities for the continuous improvement of the department and its processes.
    • Ensure compliance to Molson Coors Environmental, Health and Safety policies and requirements at all times and in all activities.
