The Headlines…


We are currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting and Consolidations in our Toronto office. This job exists as one of the primary resources for the Senior Manager, Reporting & Accounting to perform all matters relating to financial reporting & consolidation.


The Responsibilities…

  • Responsible for uploading the consolidated Creemore results into SAP, including booking any elimination journal entries
  • Responsible for monthly actuals, budgeted and forecasted financial statements of Molson Inc., including variance analysis to prior periods
  • Review equity investment balances and roll-forwards
  • Prepare monthly external interest income and expense report
  • SPA for Other Current Assets and Intercompany Accounts
  • First point of contact for all intercompany transactions, including recording certain monthly journal entries and I/C settlements
  • Responsible for coordination of intercompany balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of intercompany accounts
  • Variance analysis versus prior periods for intercompany accounts
  • Monthly cash flow variance commentary for intercompany accounts
  • Coordinate the late entry process for month end close
  • Responsible for all transactions pertaining to Molson Inc.
  • Responsible for quarterly Balance Sheet Flux analysis for Molson Inc. and MC 2005
  • Lead quarterly internal accounting issues meetings with Supply Chain, Decision Support and the Controller teams
  • Participate in quarterly accounting issues meetings with Denver, including quarterly Accounting Issues reporting to Denver
  • Prepare 10Q quarterly and 10K annual reporting package to Denver
  • Review all new agreements/contracts to ensure proper accounting is in place
  • First point of contact for the quarterly reviews and year-end external audit for Molson Coors Canada

The Other Qualifications!

  • University Degree
  • Professional Designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
  • 5 years business experience
  • Working experience in industry – beverage-alcohol or CPG preferred
  • Above average communication
  • Above average Excel experience
  • SAP experience
  • Bilingual, English/French is an asset
