The Headlines:


In the role of Manager, Planning, Forecasting & Analysis working out of our Toronto location you will be part of the Supply Chain Finance Team. This role is integral in the delivery of insights for supply chain business leaders. In this role, you will be expected to translate and bridge the operational results into the reported results.  Having a strong ability to manage the accuracy and predictability of overall supply chain results will be the key to the overall success.  This role reports to the Senior Manager Consolidation.


The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Supply Chain    
  • Responsible for improvement of accuracy and predictability of results for Supply Chain Business units
  • Responsible for the monthly forecasting and accuracy of the results
  • Responsible for delivery of the Long-Range Plan assumptions and targets
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities to the delivery of the AOP and LRP and find solutions to mitigate risks and optimize opportunities
  • Ability to accurately forecast Cash flow requirements for Inventory positions and working with the operations group to minimize the impact of finished goods losses, packaging material write-offs and promotional programming inventory
  • Key liaison for Reporting team and translation of operational results vs AOP and PYR into financial results
  • Predictability of latest estimate and variances to AOP and PYR and assess the impact on results due to business changes in sales volumes and production volumes and the related impact on the delivery of the overall supply chain results
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with multiple geographically dispersed supply chain team members
  • Manage multiple Business Partner relationships and delivery of business leader requirements (Senior Supply Chain Leaders)

The Other Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting or Business and financial designation (CPA)
  • 5+ years of Finance experience in CPG or other relevant industry
  • You have extensive financial analysis and business modelling experience
  • You possess a strong knowledge of financial processes and policies, and the governance behind financial reporting, including P&L and Cash Flow
  • You’re a self-starter with strong communication skills with the ability to represent Finance function in remote locations with limited management involvement.
  • You have strong leadership skills and the ability to influence without formal authority
  • You have strong Microsoft Excel skills; working knowledge of SAP would be an asset
