The Headlines:

 

In the role of Field Sales Management (FSM) Planner working in (either Montreal or Toronto) you will be part of the Canadian Commercial Excellence FSM team. The person will report to the Senior Manager, FSM Systems & Process with dotted line to the Director, Customer Excellence and be Responsible for leading FSM Territory & Route Planning analysis and implementation across Canada, being an integral part of the FSM Team, implementing and continuously improving the core FSM Principle, PLAN.

 

To include Outlet Mapping, Territory & People Planning and Effective Routing.

 

Liaising with numerous stakeholders (Sales Teams, Master Data, KA) across the business, this individual will need to utilise data manipluation skills allied to route and territory planning to ensure that the most efficient and effective routes are generated for MCC Sales Force.

Responsibilities

The Responsibilities:

  • Leading territory analysis across Canada to ensure that we have the most efficient territories, miniming overlap and providing analysis and what-if scenarios to support the execution of the sales strategy, whilst maximising our resources.
  • Utilising and providing analytical guidance and support to the Global Business Services team, taking a lead role in the facilitation of our territory planning and personnel utilization.
  • Leading the analysis work across Canada to ensure that we have the most efficient and effective routes for our sales force, across all territories.
  • Liaising directly with and leading conversations with Field Sales teams across all regions in Canada providing analysis, insight and support that enables key decision making.
  • Being the key contact for all routing queries and optimizations, focusing on efficiency gains and leading continuous process improvement work.
  • Being the gatekeeper of our FSM rules of engagement that align to the Canadian/Regional strategy and ensuring that these are adhered to throughout the planning process.
  • The role will involve being an expert user of global/local aligned technology, including analysis of large data sets, so the candidate will need to use data management, data manipulation and data analysis skills in order to manage the inputs and outputs that are provided to the Route & Territory Planning Team as well as the Field Sales Managers, Directors and VP’s across all regions.
  • The role will require strong communication skills as the individual will need to liaise with numerous stakeholders across the business in order to carry out and implement route plans and territory optimisation, supporting the Route & Territory Planning Team, FSM Managers, Directors and VP’s, alongside the wider commercial business.
  • Providing utilization levels of Sales Force across all regions on a quarterly basis to Sales Leadership.
  • Maintain key data figures updated in systems
  • Keep process maps and SOPs up to date

  • You have Industry knowledge of best practice systems and processes
  • You are a critical thinker with excellent problem solving skills
  • You have excellent data analysis skills and have experience in handling Big Data
  • You are IT / Systems literate, especially in SAP ECC, SAP CRM and BI
  • You are capable of working at the operational and strategic planning level
  • You exhibit the Molson Coors “How We Work” values and demonstrate this daily in your actions and attitude
  • You have a Bachelors degree with a IT, Data, Mathematics or Science/Engineering focus and/or You have 7 - 10 years' progressive experience in sales and key accounts management in the consumer or direct store delivery industries
  • You have an extensive understanding of Customer Master and Hierarchies
