The Headlines:


In the role of Senior Manager, Project Management Office working in Toronto, you will be part of the Project Management Team. In this role you will provide strategic direction and leadership to the Project Management Team. You are accountable for the PMO to brilliantly execute all Commercial and Supply Chain projects using prescribed project management methodology, standards, tools, and processes. Within this role you will also be responsible for the project delivery inclusive of highly strategic, complex, high visibiltiy projects. You will also be responsible for continuous PM process improvements and training support. This role is responsible for 5 Direct and 1 In-direct Reports.


This position reports to the Diector, Supply Chain Strategy, Transformation, Project/Process Management and works closley with our commercial and supply chain funcations.


The Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching, performance management and support to Project and Program Managers
  • Accountable for the PMO team ensuring critical deliverables are met for all new innovation, commercial and supply chain projects from Charter approval through to the Implementation phase. Also responsible for measuring and tracking key project learnings (PLR)
  • Creates, develops, and executes project plans working closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Sales, other BUs and parterns, as required by means of project management methodology
  • Serves as a core member and lead on innovation project teams throughout the project to keep project within scope, on budget and on time
  • Supports the Supply Chain Review (SCR) and START Process. Acts as a business critical liason between Commercial (Marketing & Sales) and Supply Chain and plays a key leadership role in the project prioritization process

The Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree, PMP Certification
  • 10 years Project Management Experience, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales exposure and process improvement experience.
  • You previously held a leadership role, where you demonstrated your ability to motivate and inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
  • You have a strong understanding of overall marketing, supply chain and PMO team strategies, and can contribute and transfer Project Management methodologies through projects.
  • You have effective communication skills and strong negotiation skills that drive for clarity and remove potential barriers.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
