The Headlines:


In the role of Manager, Category Management working in Montreal Quebec, you will be part of the Canadian Customer Excellence team. The person will lead the Category Solutions responsibilities to enable the Quebec region to deliver Annual Operating Plan objectives and 3-year EBIT targets.


This position reports to the Quebec Senior Manager of Category Solutions and works closely with many members of the Sales team such as Channel Marketing, Key Account Managers, and Field Sales Representatives. They also work with the Quebec Revenue Management team, and many other cross-functional teams.


The Responsibilities:

  • Execute category leadership initiatives including but not limited to: Category reviews, Customer Sell in Stories for Category Solutions, competitive landscape analysis, etc. to help Molson Coors become First Choice for Consumers.
  • Customer key contact for a group of customers.
  • Provide analytical insights by interpreting findings in data (consumer and shopper insights, business and financial indicators, research) to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Shopper & Customer Insights team (internal partnership) to develop insights & solutions to directly impact positively the growth of the total beer category results via product assortment optimization, in-store space optimization/utilization, in-store merchandising post-mortem analysis, shopper marketing solutions (test & measure) and others.
  • Manage all end to end aspects of:
    • Support internal initiative requiring Category Solution expertise.
    • Train other department on Category Solution tools.
    • Lead and initiate Ad Hoc deep dive analysis supported by assistants.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field;
  • You have at least 8 years' progressive experience in the Molson Coors organization and/or other consumer packaged goods.
  • You have at least 5 years of related analytical experience in sales, marketing, category management or research.
  • You are proficient with Category Management Tools such as: AC Nielsen's, Dunnhumby, IRI, Tableau, advanced Excel and Access would be an asset.
  • You are fully Bilingual French and English
