The Headlines:

 

We are currenlty searcing for a Senior Manager, Brewing Technical Support in ourToronot Brewery. Reporting to the Chief Brewer & VP Industrial Support the incumbent will provide technical support at Canadian country level for Brewing activities in dedicated breweries.

Responsibilities

The Responsibilities:

  • Provide to the Molson Coors Canadian plants clear direction in order to deliver the COGS (VILC+FIC) objectives (Value Optimization projects, budget targets challenge setting and validation) in Brewing.
  • Validate and challenge the capacity utilization of the Brewing facilities for each dedicated plant
  • Provide to plant brewing manager, process engineer, shift leaders and operators the needed training to improve the reliability of the processes and to secure the results.
  • On case to case basis to implement and follow the Brewing innovation in full alignment with R&D team and in collaboration with marketing, plant supply and logistic.
  • Provide new ideas in Brewing (technology development).
  • Benchmark the plants on best practice in their field of activities and organize the roll-out in other plants.
  • Lead with procurement the change of specification of Brewing material to achieve RFG/Champion plan
  • Maintain and develop the “Good Operating Practices” file with the Continuous Improvement Team.
  • Define and validate the Capex project in the field of competencies. On case to case manage the project.
  • Represent the IS team for Brewing projects and discussion with MCBC Global and to supervise the implementation of the Global rules
  • Coordinate and manage and to ensure with the plants Brewing manager of each plant the financial results in the field of Brewing (KPI’s, Value Optimization projects).
  • Ensure the effective implementation of action for capacity uplift achievement
  • Define and develop (yearly updates of) Good Operating Practices for Brewing
  • Benchmark the KPI’s between the plants, implement the roll-out
  • Ensure the full achievement of innovation projects in alignment with R&D in Brewing new liquid hand-over, new raw material, cross-brewing.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standard in the relevant area.
  • Manage at request Capex projects till commissioning

The Other Qualifications!

 

  • Must have a university Degree or equivalent in Brewing or food /beverage industry
  • 7 years of experience in production department with 2 years in a key operational function in Brewing
  • Strong knowledge in Brewing process and equipment.
  • Knowledge in packaging process. Knowledge of current practice and legislative framework in relevant areas of technology.
  • Strong analytical skills, innovative approach and high sense of urgency.
  • Able to take decision autonomously in a lean organization.
  • Excellent communication both spoken and written is mandatory.
  • International experience and/or responsibility would be an asset
