The Headlines:

 

In the role of Sr. Director Revenue Management you willlead the Canadian Revenue Management organization working closely with our Molson Coors global revenue management team. The Revenue Management Team drives topline growth and profit maximization across the business unit through fact based price, promotion, trade terms and assortment management by channel. Revenue management is a powerful strategic lever that supports the business unit in its competitive efforts in the Canadian Market.

 

This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and works closely with the regional sales teams, channel marketing and category solutions to drive holistic recommendations. The position has 5 direct reports.

Responsibilities

The Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for developing recommendations to support Molson Coors Net Sales Revenue growth from the perspective of Price, Promotion and Product Mix
  • Leading strategic decisions and recommendations to drive Net Sales Revenue
  • Develops and leverages new and existing analytical tools to support development of category, portfolio and brand pricing, promotion and mix strategies
  • Development and management of Price/Promo Strategies for brands, price tiers, skus and regions.
  • Providing strategic insights to the teams to leverage in pricing discussion with customer negotiations.
  • Providing statistical modeling expertise and training required to build and apply econometric modeling techniques to better understand Pricing/Demand relationships and trade offs within the portfolio and with competitors / substitutes
  • Leads Revenue Management for Innovation, Brand and Trade Marketing teams.
  • Providing expertise to assist in designing and conducting consumer pricing research

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or another analytical discipline
  • You have at least 10 years' progressive commercial experience in trade marketing, finance, or strategy.
  • You have 10+ years experience with demonstrated success in unearthing insights and turning them into actionable recommendations in the areas of price/promo and mix analytics.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and/or presentation skills based on an understanding of working with marketing/sales to achieve objectives.
  • Strong technical analysis skills and an ability to understand and filter what is important.
