The Headlines:


Reporting to the Director of Brewing, the Technical Brewer will drive proces improvement/optimization projects within the brewery environment.

The Responsibilities:

  • Brewing and brewing quality subject-matter expert
  • Process change expert whom never settles for status-quo, to drive process improvement projects within the brewery environment
  • You are seen as a credible leader who can influence personnel at all levels of the brewery
  • You are comfortable in an environment of constant change and working with World Class Manufacturing best practices
  • You are a self-starter committed to continuous improvement and driven to achieving your goals
  • Knowledge of statistical process control methods, continuous improvement processes, and reliability centered maintenance would also be considered important assets

The Qualifications...


  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, or science-oriented discipline at a post-secondary vocational institute
  • Possess a Diploma from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (or equivalent)
  • 3-5 years’ of experience as a brewer
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Good analytical and numerical mind set
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • A motivated team player with a positive attitude to change
  • Balanced with the flexibility needed to meet production plans
  • Familiarity with computers and the ability to work in MS Word and MS Excel is highly desirable
  • Most important of all, you must love beer!
